Position papers in the area of international development
We define development as “enabling everyone to achieve their full
potential, and lead productive and creative lives with dignity according
to their needs and choices, whilst fulfilling their obligations and
realising their rights”. Development must be sustainable i.e. make

What are position papers?
“Position papers” reflect the views of all EUNS and the International Federation – unless stated otherwise - on a given subject related to the work of the EU institutions.
Position papers are a key element to support the Red Cross/EU Office in order to:

- pool ideas and expertise into a strong voice on EU issues
- strengthen internal collaboration
