Volunteering in your own country

To become a volunteer with the Red Cross/Red Crescent, you need to contact the nearest branch of the National Society in your country for details of the programmes that they run and their current needs for volunteers.

If you do not have an address for the nearest branch of your National Society, please look in the "RC Profiles" for EU National Societies or click here to access the directory of the International Federation, where you will find contact details of each EU National Society. Otherwise, Red Cross and Red Crescent National Societies should be listed in local telephone books.
